Question 1: When you created Newgrounds how far did you think it would really go?
I never imagined it could become what it has today, but I suppose in the back of my head I was hoping I would make something that would become popular. It's been a crazy ride, though.
Question 2: What were some original ideals of Newgrounds such as the name and logo?
The name started as a Neo Geo tribute, but it represents the ongoing desire to break new grounds and not just sit in the same place. The tank logo also represents breaking down barriers and being unstoppable.
Question 3: What kind of music do you enjoy listening to?
I like techno and drum 'n bass, as well as industrial and rock bands like Joy Division and Interpol.
Question 4: How much do you do with Newgrounds now that you have a full staff to help you?
I still oversee new feature development and play a large roll in laying out the plans for the new features. I also still work on games for the site, and deal with a lot of community stuff. It keeps me very busy.
Question 5: Do you currently have another jobs?
My role at the Behemoth is technically a second job. I was the lead programmer for Alien Hominid and Castle Crashers, although for now I am stepping back from programming future console games.
Question 6: Tell me a little about your personal life embarrassing moments, scary moments, the best moments, and/or whats been going on.
I was pretty much embarrassed and scared through my entire childhood, but everything is cool now. The latest news is that I have a baby on the way, in March!
Question 7: If you could beat up anybody who would it be?
That's an interesting question because I'm not as angry as I used to be. Maybe I would beat up whoever runs the FCC or Clear Channel.
Question 8: If you had 2 dollars and a nickle but I took $2.0500 how much would you have left?
Nothing, I think!
Question 9: What was your dream job as a child?
Making video games.
Question 10: If you could be any NG character other then yourself who would it be?
Pico!
Question 11: What kind of things can we look forward to happen with behemoth and newgrounds?
Behemoth will make more cool games... NG will make more cool features. We have a ton of big stuff in development for NG, it will be exciting.
